CARE's
Staff...
|

Responsible
to the Board of Directors for carrying out the mission and goals
of the agency. Directly supervises the Finance Officer,
Supportive Services Coordinator, Administrative Assistant and Property Manager. Is
responsible for advocating for affordable housing at the City,
County, State and Federal level. Networks with other housing
agencies.
Chadrick has
been with CARE since 1999. Chadrick moved to Colorado in 1997
from Wyoming where he received his Bachelor’s of Science
degree. He is currently attending Denver University to obtain
his Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance/Construction
Management. Chadrick enjoys being a part of CARE so that he can
help create opportunities for families to improve their lives.
In his free
time, Chadrick likes to spend time with his family. He also
enjoys playing golf and basketball. |

Reports
directly to the Director. Is responsible for the smooth running
of the office. Is the receptionist for the staff and assistant
to the Director. Assists with the writing of grants and other
correspondence. Originates office correspondence/forms using
knowledge of Director’s preferences. Develops and maintains
website. Assists in HR duties such as gathering insurance
information and handling new employee orientation and
paperwork. Records employee vacation and sick time.
Coordinates annual Resident Holiday Party and Summer Picnic.
Amanda has
been with CARE since 2002. She is currently attending Regis University
and plans to graduate soon with her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. Amanda has worked as an office assistant for over
10 years, but is grateful for her position at CARE because here
she can be a part of an organization whose sole purpose is to
help people.
In her free
time, Amanda spends lots of time with her daughter. She also
enjoys reading, music, movies and considers herself a life long
learner.

Reports to
the Director and is responsible for all properties of
CARE Housing. Oversees new construction and is also the
liaison with contractors, the Building Committee, Property
Management Committee, Long Range Planning Committee and City
Departments. Monitors compliance with funding sources regarding
residents. Coordinates marketing and business development.
Supervises Housing Technicians and Maintenance Department.
Works with the resident managers and is responsible for receivables.
After
starting out as a temp, Ashley joined CARE as a full-time staff
member in 2008. Ashley has over 10 years of experience in
Property/Asset Management and has put her skills to work here at
CARE. Her experience in affordable housing drew her here and
she is committed to CARE’s mission and goals.
Ashley has lived in Colorado since 1994 and relocated to the
Fort Collins area in 2001. In her free time Ashley values
spending time with her family. She enjoys many outdoor
activities, from camping to fishing to skiing. She also enjoys
traveling and reading.

HOUSING TECHNICIAN –
Julie Lorson
Reports to Property Manager.
Screens applicants and interviews for CARE Housing. Calculates
rent, reviews and explains all forms to residents. Gathers and
maintains appropriate records for CHFA and funding sources.
Julie has been a Housing
Technician with CARE since 2008, but has been the resident
manager at Cottonwood since October 2005. She likes living and
working in the same place, and being able to help people in
similar situations to her own. She likes being able to offer
people with a lower income a nice place to live, and giving
people a hand up.
In her free time, Julie likes to
make cards, bike, read and decorate. Julie is originally from
Illinois, but has been in Colorado for the past 32 years.

HOUSING TECHNICIAN –
Patty Weinbeck
Reports to
Property Manager. Screens applicants for CARE Housing.
Conducts the bi-annual and yearly re-evaluation of all
residents. Calculates rent, reviews and explains all forms to
residents. Gathers and maintains appropriate records for CHFA
and funding sources.
Patty
has been with CARE since 2007 and she is a Colorado Native! She
has worked in the Property Management industry for 4 years and
is happy to be a part of the CARE team because she enjoys the
people so much.
In her free
time, Patty does yoga. She also enjoys reading and crocheting

Reports to
the Director. Provides supportive service to residents
including, but not limited to group, family and individual
counseling, arranging presentations/educational programs.
Provides referrals to residents for community services. Oversees
and manages CARE’s volunteers.
Betsy has
been with CARE since 1997. Betsy earned her Bachelor’s of
Social Work from Colorado State University and has been doing
Social Work for over 19 years. Betsy moved to Colorado in
1982. She feels CARE is an extraordinary organization because
in addition to providing affordable housing, CARE offers
residents the opportunity to stabilize their lives and provides
the means of helping them achieve their goals. She is always
happy when residents move into homeownership.
In her free time, Betsy enjoys spending
time outdoors metal detecting. She also enjoys swimming,
gardening, hiking, biking or working on home improvements.
In addition, she dedicates a lot of her time to her
grandchildren.

MAINTENANCE
TECHNICIAN
Reports to
the Property Manager for maintenance of all CARE’s properties.
Supervises Maintenance Technician I. Keeps all properties with
“curb appeal”. Responds to the work orders of residents after
the Property Manager has prioritized them. Is pro-active in
looking after the properties and when possible, exercises
preventative maintenance. Responds to maintenance emergencies.

MAINTENANCE
TECHNICIAN –
David Miller
Assists
Maintenance Supervisor with maintenance of all properties.
Responds to work orders of residents, and keeps all grounds
maintained.
David has
been with CARE since 2005. He has worked primarily in the
construction and maintenance field, and working at CARE he is
able to utilize many of his skills. David also appreciates
being able to work with the residents.
David has
lived in Red Feather for 12 years, and is a native to Colorado.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, building
model cars, fishing, hunting, and being with his grandchildren.

Reports
directly to the Director. Oversees and is responsible for the
financial areas of the agency. Coordinates with the auditor and
tax credit consultant for audits and preparation of the tax
credit application. Fills out compliance reports pertaining to
grants and funding sources. Supervises the accounting
technician.
Jan has been
with CARE since 1998. She earned her
Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting from Colorado State University. Jan has
extensive experience in governmental and property management
accounting. Jan appreciates working for CARE because here
it’s not just about the numbers, it’s about the people.
In her free
time, Jan crews for a local Hot Air Ballooning company.

Assists the
Finance Officer. Prepares checks and does the day-to-day
bookkeeping for the agency and assigns the proper accounts.
Reimburses staff for mileage and assists in recording tenant
payments.
Jane
has been with CARE since 2007. She moved to Colorado in October
of 2006 from Northern California. She has worked in the
accounting field for nearly 20 years and was excited to come to
CARE Housing because it is a community based organization.
In
her free time, Jane enjoys spending time outdoors. She enjoys
hiking as well as cooking and reading.
